Expeditions: A MudRunner Game Will Get 4 Seasons of Extra Content

With less than a month until release, a new trailer has dropped for Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, the upcoming off-roading adventure spin-off for the MudRunner series.

The latest trailer highlights the various editions you can buy, confirming the Year 1 Pass will bring four seasons of extra content after launch.

At launch, three versions of Expeditions: A MudRunner Game will be available: standard, Year 1 Edition, and Supreme Edition. In addition to extra content and early access, the Year 1 and Supreme Editions will give access to four seasons of extra content throughout the year.

Like SnowRunner, seasons will be released in yearly passes, with the Year 1 Pass featuring new scouts, trucks, specialists, and tools and over one hundred missions. To date, SnowRunner has had three Year Passes, with the Year 4 Pass due to arrive this year.

These missions will see you explore zones in Arizona and the Carpathians ravaged by a devastating earthquake as well as abandoned mines and caverns for the first time in the Runner series.

Alongside the Year 1 Pass, Expeditions will be supported with free content and updates including a co-op mode allowing you to share gadgets and conquer the wilderness with up to four players.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game release date

Expeditions: A MudRunner game sees players embark on scientific research missions, driving a variety of off-road utility vehicles across treacherous terrain to scout out locations in three maps. Vehicles can also be equipped with an arsenal of gadgets, from drones to scanners, to overcome obstacles.

From the trailers shown so far, Expeditions appears to have a smaller scope than SnowRunner, focusing on scouting missions rather than cargo deliveries.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game will be released on 5 March on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Those who preorder the Year 1 and Supreme Editions will get early access on 2 March.
