Running this week from 23 May to 30 May, the Steam Racing Fest has launched with substantial discounts on a variety of racing games, from realistic and arcade racers to car combat games and simulators.

You can also test your knowledge of racing games with a trivia quiz. Getting every answer right will earn you a Steam Cup Badge. We’ve compiled our picks for the best racing game deals in the Steam Racing Fest sale.

Assetto Corsa – 80 percent off

Assetto Corsa Competizione may be a newer game, but the original Assetto Corsa still holds up nearly ten years on. Released in 2014, Assetto Corsa set new standards for realism, with laser-scanned racetracks and intuitive driving physics with fantastic force feedback.

Sadly, the Competizione is not on sale, but the original Assetto Corsa is currently on sale for just £3.09 with 80 percent off. DLC packs including the Porsche and Dream Packs are also on sale with 80 percent off. 

Need for Speed Heat Deluxe Edition – 80 percent off

With Need for Speed 2022 expected to arrive later this year, there’s no better time to revisit Need for Speed Heat. As part of Steam Racing Fest, the most recent NFS game is on sale with 80 percent off, costing only £11.09.

When it launched 2019, NFS Heat, was considered one of the best games in the series in years thanks to its deep customisation, intense cop chases, and risk vs reward gameplay.

Making the deal even sweeter, the Deluxe Edition also includes extra cars, character outfits, and increased Rep and Bank rewards. With 80 percent off, NFS Heat is worth taking for a spin while we wait for Criterion Games’ sequel to arrive.

Forza Horizon 4 – 67 percent off

While Forza Horizon 5 is not on sale, you can save 67 percent off its predecessor, Forza Horizon 4. This reduces the price from £54.99 to £18.14. For that price, you’re getting a lot of content, with hundreds of cars and an expansive open-world set in beautiful, historic Britain.
