The Crew 2 Season 8 Episode 1: USST Cities brings new cars and street circuits

While we’re waiting for Ubisoft to share more details about The Crew Motorfest, The Crew 2 has received a massive free update.

Launching tomorrow for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, The Crew 2 Season 8 Episode 1: USST brings new cars as well as new street circuits set in the largest US cities.

US Speed Tour returns

The Crew 2 Season 8 Episode 1: USST Cities brings back the US Speed Tour, last seen in Season 3. While the last tour had players racing from the East to West coast, high-speed races in the new US Speed Tour take place on twisty urban circuits in New York, Miami, Seattle and Los Angeles.

There will be 16 Touring Car events over the next eight weeks in USST Cities, with two events each week. Each event will also feature an Endurance Race mode testing your skills.

Motorpass

USST Cities also introduces a new Motorpass. As always, there are 50 tiers of free and premium rewards to unlock.

These include the Pagani Zonda F Primary Edition (Hypercar), the Mini Cooper S Checkered Edition (Touring car), the Chevrolet Corvette C8.R, the Audi RS 5 Coupe USST Official Edition (Street Race), as well as vanity items, outfits and currency packs.

New cars in The Crew 2 Season 8 Episode 1 available on 15 March include the Saleen S1GT4 Cup (Touring car), the Spyker C8 LaViolette GT2-R (Touring car), the KTM X-BOW GT2 (Touring car).

In addition, the new season adds 40 new vanity customisation options from avatar outfits, smokes, and tyres, to under glows and window tint.

Vehicles from previous Motorpass are also returning including the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar (Street Race), the Jaguar F-Type SVR Coupé Professional Edition (Street Race), the Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Convertible (Street Race), and the KTM 450 EXC Nighthawk Edition (Motorbike).

Motorflix Arena

In addition, The Crew 2 Season 8 Episode 1 expands the map with a new Motorflix Arena. Located on the shores of Lake Michigan near Chicago, this new area is accessible in free roam and is filled with “big curves and underwater tunnels.”

Live Summits

Eight new weekly LIVE Summits will also challenge players to get the highest rank on the leaderboard. Premium Live Summits will give players a chance to win exclusive items and vehicles with the Bugatti Magma Edition (2019) and Ferrari F12 TDF (2016) up for grabs.

Considering we’re now in the eighth season of free updates in five years, Ubisoft’s post-release support for The Crew 2 has been exceptional. Hopefully, this will continue in The Crew Motorfest when the sequel launches later this year.
