With only a few weeks until launch, Studio 397 has revealed the full Le Mans Ultimate track list.
Le Mans Ultimate is the official video game of the 2023 World Endurance Championship season. As such, it has all of the cars, drivers and circuits of the 2023 campaign.
So, let's see where we're heading with the complete Le Mans Ultimate track list.
Le Mans Ultimate Tracks List
Unsurprisingly, the Le Mans Mans is the game's major showpiece. Circuit de la Sarthe is a monster of a circuit, where the Hypercars top 200 mph (320 kph) down the tracks several long straights.
Le Mans is located in the north of France and the 24 hour race makes up one of the three points of motorsport's triple crown.
WEC also goes to other tracks through the year, though. At launch, Le Mans Ultimate will feature seven iconic circuits from the 2023 WEC season. Here is the full Le Mans Ultimate circuit list for launch, as confirmed by Studio 397:
- Sebring International Speedway, United States - 1000 Miles of Sebring
- Autodromo Internacional do Algarve (Portimao, Portugal) - 6 Hours of Portimao
- Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium - 6 Hours of Spa
- Circuit De La Sarthe (24 Hours of Le Mans)
- Autodroma Nazioionale Monza, Italy - 6 Hours of Monza
- Fuji Speedway, Japan - 6 Hours of Fuji
- Bahrain International Circuit - 6 Hours of Bahrain
Classic tracks
Sadly, Le Mans Ultimate won't include any classic tracks at launch.
While this is the official game of the 2023 WEC season, in theory, there's nothing stopping the developers from adding circuits from previous seasons in the future.
This may seem like a pipe dream, but other officially licenced games from other motorsport series have classic tracks. Both the official MotoGP game and the Formula 1 game have circuits from seasons gone by.
So, which tracks would we like to see included? We'll give some suggestions:
- Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Silverstone, United Kingdom
- Nurburgring, Germany
- Hermanos Rodriguez, Mexico
- Imola, Italy
Where are the 2024 tracks?
For the 2024 WEC season, only Spa, Fuji, Bahrain and Le Mans will return from last year's season, with eight rounds making up the expanded 2024 WEC calendar and four new venues in Qatar, Italy, USA and Brazil. Since the game is based on the 2023 season, these new locations won't be included in Le Mans Ultimate at launch.
While Studio 397 is planning to bring the 2024 cars to Le Mans Ultimate after the Early Access launch, there's no word yet on whether the new circuits will be added. As each track is meticulously laser-scanned, adding more tracks will require a lot of resources so it might be a long time before we can race in these locations in Le Mans Ultimate.
Trailer and Release Date
The Le Mans Ultimate trailer is still one of the best and most recent looks we've had of the game. The game was originally meant to launch in 2023, will now launch on 20 February in Early Access.
As for which consoles Le Mans Ultimate is going to be released on, it's currently only scheduled for a PC release.
There is every possibility that it could come to both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, but only after the game's PC release. This could be around 2025, but this is speculation at this point.
