Changes to the line-ups next year include Enea Bastianini moving to Gresini Racing, Franco Morbidelli being promoted to the Yamaha factory team and Maverick Viñales joining the new Aprilla team. Remy Gardner, Darryn Binder, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Marco Bezzecchi, and Raúl Fernández will also enter the series as rookies.

Calendar

The 2021 MotoGP calendar was almost as disrupted as 2020.

The MotoGP 22 tracks should be pretty much back to normal though, as travel restrictions have eased to a reasonable level now. MotoGP 21 did include the original calendar and we'll be basing any changes from that rather than the final schedule we ended up with.

BOOKENDER: Valencia is the final round of both the 2009 and 2022 seasons

After being a "Reserve Grand Prix" for years, Indonesia got its first MotoGP round this year as the second race on the roster. This took place at the brand-new Mandalika International Street Circuit, so it'll be a challenge for Milestone to get this one in-game before launch day.

Aside from that, the calendar in 2022 is identical to the original for 2021. Our first round is Losail in Qatar, with the 21st and final race taking place in Valencia.

We also get Historical circuits to play on as well. These include Donington, Laguna Seca, Brno, Indianapolis and Estoril.
