Sim racers rejoice! A new Assetto Corsa title is on the way! Digital Bros, the parent company of 505 games and Kunos Simulazioni, revealed a new AC game in its 2021 corporate report.

Because of the success of Assetto Corsa Competizione, a new AC title was always going to be on the way, but we now have official confirmation of this for the first time!

There's also official word on the mobile AC game too, so let's see when these games will be available!

Assetto Corsa 2

Digital Bros' monthly report stated that Assetto Corsa 2 will be released in 2024 and is currently "in development". Some may be surprised at this date being so far in the future, but it does mean that we will be getting content for ACC during the coming years too.

CONTINUED SUCCESS: AC2 will no doubt build on the success of ACC

The original Assetto Corsa will also continue to enjoy support from the developers and the modding community, which will help bridge the gap to 2024.

As for any other details about AC2, there unfortunately aren't any. We don't even know what the title will be, "Assetto Corsa 2" is just a placeholder for the moment. We can assume that the Unreal Engine 5 will run AC2 when it's released, as this has just been launched.

Assetto Corsa mobile

Also revealed in the report is the release date of the Assetto Corsa mobile game. AC Mobile was originally announced back in 2019 for a 2020 release date. Since then, though, delays have pushed it back to 2021, but it is now slated for a Summer 2021 release date.

GOING ON THE GO! AC Mobile is coming to devices soon

Given that it's now June, that means that AC mobile could release any day now. Although, as it's only just been announced, it's likely we'll have to wait until August to download on Android and iOS devices.

Like AC2, Assetto Corsa mobile is shrouded in mystery. We do expect mobile to keep the console versions' sim racing elements while condensing the format for the small screen! Look out Real Racing! There could be a new kid on the mobile block soon.
