Forza Horizon 5’s new Horizon Race-Off Summer playlist is live, and with it comes a new Treasure Hunt challenge to complete, with the Star Searching challenge taking us on a stargazing adventure.

Forza Horizon 5 Star Searching Treasure Hunt Guide
Forza Horizon 5’s Star Searching Treasure Hunt starts with the following clue to solve: "In the 50s we looked to the stars and space for design inspiration, take a space age car and look for the tool to see the bright night sky!”
This means you’ll need to jump into a car from the 1950s to complete this challenge. We used the 1955 Hoonigan Chevrolet Bel Air, but any 1950s car can be used. There’s plenty of choice from the Aston Martin DBR1 to the Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder and Barbie’s Chevrolet Corvette.
Jump into your favourite 1950s car and head to the Gran Telescopio at the top of the Gran Caldera Volcano. Once you reach the observatory, the clue for the treasure chest location will appear on the map.
Where to find the Star Searching treasure chest
The clue takes us to the Bahia de Plano beach. You’ll find the chest next to the boat in front of the blue building at the following location on the map:
Smash the chest to bag 100 Forza Points to go towards the series progress reward cars.
Horizon Race-Off Summer Festival Playlist
The Treasure Hunt isn’t the only challenge that awaits you in the Horizon Race-Off Summer Festival Playlist, which has nine reward cars up for grabs.
This week’s season progress rewards are the 2023 McLaren Artura (20 points) hybrid supercar and 2018 Porsche Macan LPR Rally Raid (40 points).
Elsewhere, you can also win the 2019 Lamborghini Urus in The Trial and 2021 Cupra Formentor VZ5 in the EventLab challenge.
The Volkswagen #1107 Desert Dingo Racing Stock Bug, 2003 Ford Focus RS, 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA, and 1955 Chevrolet 150 Utility Sedan are also on offer in the four Seasonal Championships.
If you own the Rally Adventure and Hot Wheels expansions, you can also win the 1975 Ford Bronco and 2018 Renault Megane RS.
There is also a Photo Challenge to complete, which takes you to the ancient ruins of Uxmal.
