Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races: Kickoff date revealed

We're always a fan of jumping into some random combination racing against other drivers, and that's what Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races promise to be.

Seasoned GT players are familiar with the Daily Races format, but it looks like these online races will be making a bit of a change for Gran Turismo 7.

Let's see what's coming for the Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races.

Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races

Daily Races will kick off from Friday, 4 March. Which just so happens to be launch day for Gran Turismo 7.

initially, there will be two races, Daily Race A & B. Race C will be added from Monday, 14 March following a game update.

At the moment, Gran Turismo 7 lists the current races as Daily Races:

The Race A regulations are for the trio of starting cars only. However, if you've done the weight reduction upgrade to any of them you'll come in under the minimum weight, so be prepared to add some ballast back!

Race B is at Deep Forest Raceway and has quite a few limitations. You have to be in a road car with 295 BHP or less and a minimum weight of 1,200kgs. You can't have nitrous, and must be on the Sports Hard tyres.

Whether these carry through to launch or not is unclear. We'll update this post with the info when we have it!

When do Daily Races change?

You'd think that Daily Races would change, well, daily. But that's not been the case in Gran Turismo Sport for a while, where they became weekly races.

So far Polyphony hasn't given any guidance on when the races will tick over except to say "Daily Races will be updated at irregular intervals". Which is not the most helpful thing in the world!

We'll keep you updated with all the latest about Daily Races. And remember, you'll need to unlock Sport Mode before you can dive into them again.
