iRacing 2022 Season 4 update
A major iRacing update has arrived with the launch of 2022 Season 4 adding an abundance of new content to the PC racing simulation. One of the main additions is the extreme Porsche Mission R – the first electric car to ever feature in iRacing.
The substantial update also adds three new circuits (Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, Lucas Oil Speedway, and Rudskogen Motorsenter) along with a new damage model. You can find full details in the extensive iRacing 2022 Season 4 patch notes
Shanghai returning to F1 22
Codemasters announced a new F1 22 update is coming next week. Launching on 12 September, the free update will add the yellow Ferrari special livery commemorating the team’s 75th anniversary at weekend’s Italian Grand Prix.
The Shanghai International Circuit is also returning to F1 22 following the addition of the Portuguese Grand Prix earlier this year, despite the circuit not returning to the real-world F1 calendar until 2023.
First F1 Manager 2022 update 1.7 details
F1 Manager 2022 has been out for just over a week now. As much as we love it, there’s room for improvement. There are several key features missing and players have been reporting issues. Don’t despair though because Frontier Developments has been monitoring player feedback and revealed what we can expect in the next patch update.
Expected to launch later this month, F1 Manager 2022 Update 1.7 will fix issues relating to tyre wear and opponent AI to improve the experience.

In other racing game news, F1 Manager 2022 had a strong launch, racing to number four in the UK sales charts – an impressive debut for a niche management game.
The Rocket League Season 8 update added a new arena and Rocket Pass featuring the Honda Civic Type R. Rocket League Sideswipe Season 5 also kicked off, marking the return of Ranked Volleyball.
Need for Speed 2022 still hasn’t been revealed but Need for Speed Heat is free to download on PlayStation Plus this month to help ease the wait.
The mobile spin-off Need for Speed No Limits also received a new update adding three flashy Ferraris including the SF90 Stradale. Coincidentally, the SF90 Stradale also made its Real Racing 3 debut in a new update.
For motorcycle fans, Monster Energy Supercross 5 is now available on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium at no extra cost.
Classic Tournament challenges returned to Wreckfest in the Solo Tournament update and a release date was confirmed for the Art of Rally Indonesia update.
SnowRunner's Western Star Wolf Pack also added three new trucks while we wait for Season 8 and rFactor 2 received a hotfix making tweaks to track limits.
