F1 24 is about to hit the start/finish line, and fans' questions are building almost as rapidly as the hype. One of the biggest questions is about the editions of the games that will be available.

With preorder bonuses available for every edition of the game, here’s everything you need to know about F1 24’s editions so you can get in fast.
F1 24 editions
Just like F1 23 last year, F1 24 will be sold with two separate editions available to buy. These are the Standard Edition, and the more premium Champions Edition.
Both come with their own perks for players, including in-game rewards, early access, and even real-life F1 bonuses. In-game rewards span both single and multiplayer areas of the game, so there’s something for everyone for players who choose to upgrade.
Some rewards are only available to players who preorder F1 24, so it’s crucial that fans get in early to maximise their perks.
Let’s take a look at each edition of F1 24 in more detail.
Standard Edition
F1 24’s Standard Edition is the default option for the game. This version comes with 5k PitCoins and an F1 World Starter Pack for players who preorder.
Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton features on the Standard Edition cover, with the Mercedes driver flanked by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and McLaren’s Lando Norris. For the first time since F1 2018, the drivers are also shown with their cars.
Beyond that, the Standard Edition of the game offers little else. Players can purchase the Standard Edition of F1 24 for £59.99 on PC and £69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The Standard Edition is, therefore, pretty standard, but the same cannot be said for the Champions Edition.
Champions Edition
The Champions Edition of F1 24 is a significant upgrade compared to the Standard Edition. Three-time world champion Max Verstappen takes centre stage of the Champions Edition cover art, celebrating yet another victory out on track.
Players who pre-order the Champions Edition can take advantage of two new Formula 1 Icons, 18k PitCoin, and an F1 World Bumper Pack featuring resources for single and multiplayer gameplay events.
If that wasn’t enough, there is also a bonus VIP Podium Pass and three days early access. This puts players in the driving seat from 28 May as opposed to 31 May for those who don’t preorder or who have bought the Standard Edition.
The Champions Edition also adds extra F1 23 content. F1 23players who preorder F1 24 can hit the track in 2024 liveries for McLaren, Williams, Alpine, and Haas. In addition to the four main liveries, players can also race in esports liveries forAlpine and McLaren.
Players can get their hands on the Champions Edition of F1 24 for £79.99 on PC or £89.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Release date
F1 24 releases on 31 May for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. As we mentioned earlier, preordering the Champions Edition gives you three days of early access from 28 May.
