F1 24 Release Times Revealed For PC, PlayStation and Xbox

F1 24 is edging closer, with Codemasters revealing when players can start pre-loading the game. Depending on which platform you play on, the game is either just around the corner or already available to install.

Let’s look at the F1 24 preload times to find out when you can get onto the grid.

Codemasters has announced when players can start preloading F1 24 onto their systems. Some players can already install the game, while others have a small wait.

Xbox players have been able to preload the game since May 16 at 10 am UTC (11 am BST/6 am ET/3 am PST).

For PC players, preloading starts on May 22 at 3 pm UTC (4 pm BST/11 am ET/8 am PST). This is the case for both Steam and EA Play players. For both Xbox and PC players, the Standard and Champions Editions are available at the same time.

Things are slightly different for PlayStation players. The Champions Edition will unlock on May 26 at 3 pm UTC (4 pm BST/11 am ET/8 am PST).

As for the Standard Edition, players must wait an extra three days until May 29 at 3 pm UTC (4 pm BST/11 am ET/8 am PST). This still gives plenty of time to install the game before release, however.

Overhauled racing

F1 24 introduces overhauls to the Career Mode and handling. Combined, these see the F1 series take another big step forward for players.

The new Career Mode lets players fill the racing boots of any of the 20 F1 drivers on the grid. Driver Accolades are assigned for players to complete, from taking Lewis Hamilton to his eighth world title to getting Nico Hulkenberg his first win.

Driver Recognition sees players fighting for their reputation against their teammates. Whoever leads the team also leads the car's development, so your teammate will become your biggest rival. Your reputation can also lead to other teams trying to poach you, so be ready for secret meetings with other teams on the grid.

Developed in collaboration with three-time F1 world champion Max Verstappen, the new handling is also the most authentic seen in the F1 series.

F1 24 launches worldwide on May 31. Players who preorder the Champions Edition get three days early access, putting them on the grid from May 28.
