Over the years, Polyphonyās revolutionary Vision GT program has seen car manufacturers create wild concept cars specifically for the Gran Turismo games, from the bonkers Bugatti Vision GT to the Porsche Vision GT Spyder introduced in a recent update.
As well as giving us unique and interesting cars to drive in Gran Turismo, itās great publicity for car manufacturers.
One manufacturer that still hasn't designed a Vision GT car is Ferrari - until now.
First look at Ferrari Vision GT
A short 15-second long teaser video posted on the official Gran Turismo TV YouTube channel gives us a first look at the Ferrari Vision GT. Ferrari teases āsomething big is comingā but details are limited at this stage.
We donāt get a clear look at the design details until the end shot reveals the carās slender LED headlights flanking the Prancing Horse logo.
Hot on the heels of the Ferrari 499P Le Mans hypercarās debut a few weeks ago, we expect the Ferrari Vision GT to incorporate either a hybrid or fully electric powertrain and aggressive aero possibly with design cues inspired by the 499P Le Mans racer.
Ferrari Vision GT reveal date
Ferrari will reveal its new Vision GT car on 27 November during a livestream of the Final Nations Cup in Monaco. It remains to be seen if Ferrari has built a full-scale model or if it will be a digital-only debut.
Notably, the reveal is taking place a few days after this weekās 25th Anniversary update, which will add three cars. Itās not clear if the Ferrari Vision GT will be added to Gran Turismo 7 as part of the 25th-anniversary update or in another update at a later date, but weāll hopefully find out next week.
