Polyphony is embracing the season for giving by awarding Gran Turismo 7 players with free gifts in December and January. All you need to do to get these free gifts is log in to GT7 while we wait for news on a possible December content update.
Free gifts for Gran Turismo 7 players
GT7 players can get up to ten free gifts throughout the Holiday Season Login Campaign. These range from free credits, 5-star Roulette tickets, and engine Roulette tickets.
To receive these gifts, simply log into GT7 and visit the World Map between 00:00 UTC on 15 December and 23:59 UTC on 25 December. If you miss out, don’t worry; a second login campaign will follow, allowing players to win more free gifts from 0000 UTC on 26 December until 23:59 UTC on 7 January 2024.
You’ll receive a free gift each day you log in, with a maximum of five gifts offered in each period. The fifth gift is the most valuable, giving players a ticket to claim 250,000 credits.
Earned gifts can be redeemed in your garage in the Gifts section. As a send-off for Gran Turismo Sport, Polyphony is also giving away a six-star roulette ticket between 5 December at 00:00 UTC and 31 January at 23:59 UTC. Again, you only need to log in and visit the World Map between those dates to claim it. After launching on PS4 in March 2017, Gran Turismo Sport’s servers will shut down on 31 January 2024.
No Gran Turismo 7 December update?
While nobody is going to turn down free gifts, GT7 players are still left wanting more. Many wonder if GT7 will get a December update with new cars and events to enjoy over Christmas. GT7 normally gets monthly updates like clockwork, but November’s Spec II update bucked this trend with Polyphony skipping an October update.
Unfortunately, with no traditional car teaser from Kazunori last weekend, a GT7 December update looks doubtful. Unless Polyphony gives us a surprise update closer to Christmas, we may have to wait until January 2024 for GT7’s next content update. We already know one of the new cars will be the gorgeous Genesis Vision GT Concept, set to arrive in GT7 sometime in January 2024.
