European Sunday Cup 500

Sardegna – Road Track – B - 2 laps

This week’s challenges start with a traditional Sunday Cup with a casual two-lap race around Sardegna. You’ll need a European road car for this event but there’s no PP limit, although a 500 PP cap is suggested to keep the competition even.

You’ll only take home 10,000 credits for victory, so don’t overspend on car upgrades.

Special Event – Plymouth Superbird – One Make

Daytona International Speedway – 3 laps

GT7’s latest Weekly Challenges brings a new one-make special event that puts you behind the wheel of the Plymouth Superbird. Boasting a gigantic rear wing, the Superbird was specifically designed to enter the 1970 NASCAR Daytona 500. To comply with regulations, around 1,920 examples were built for the road. Fittingly, this three-lap race takes place at Daytona International Speedway.

If you don’t own it, the Superbird is currently available to buy at the Legends Cars Dealership. There’s no PP limit so you can upgrade its performance, with 60,000 credits up for grabs if you take the win.

Race of Turbo Sportscars

Suzuka Circuit – 5 laps

As the name suggests, you’ll need a turbocharged car for the Race of Turbo Sportscars event at Suzuka. This five-lap race has a 700-PP cap, so choose your car wisely. A 70,000-credit prize is on offer for first place.

Neo-Classic Competition

Fuji International Speedway – 10 laps

The final event requires you to start Bonus Menu Book 43, but you don’t need to finish it to unlock it. You do, however, need to reach Collector Level 33 to unlock this Bonus Menu Book. This ten-lap race at Fuji has plenty of restrictions you need to be aware of. First, you need a car with an 800 PP rating or less with Racing tyres.

In addition, the car must have been built between 1980 and 1999 to be eligible. There’s also a 10x fuel and 9x tyre wear limit, so you’ll need to make a pit stop at an opportune time. Finishing at the top of the podium will reward you with 168,000 credits.

As for this week’s bonus rewards, completing one event wins you a 100,000-credit ticket, while completing three gives you a 200,000. Conquering all five events wins you a 500,000 credit prize, , and five-star roulette ticket for conquering all five. Don’t forget you only need to finish in third place or higher in each event to earn these rewards.

Alongside the Weekly Challenges is a new set of GT7 Daily Races to tackle. Polyphony has yet to confirm if GT7 will get a content update this month. Most updates arrive on the last Thursday of the month, so we’ll probably get a teaser for update 1.44 from Kazunori this weekend if it’s coming next week.
