The Golden Pass is one of the easiest ways to earn rewards in Disney Speedstorm, but it’s not clear how to unlock it initially. Luckily, we have the answer. Here’s how to unlock the Golden Pass in Disney Speedstorm.
What is the Golden Pass?
Disney Speedstorm’s Golden Pass is essentially a battle pass. By completing season objectives, earning XP and ranking up, each Golden Pass tier unlocks free and premium in-game rewards. These range from kart parts to Racer Shards and character outfits.
click to enlargePremium Golden Pass rewards require Credits to unlock. These can be earned by completing objectives or can be purchased with real-world currency. Luckily, all three tiers of the Founders Pack include free Golden Pass Credits to give you a head start on unlocking every reward.
But before you can access the Golden Pass and claim rewards, you need to unlock it.
How to unlock the Golden Pass
When you start Disney Speedstorm, you can’t access the Golden Pass. To unlock the Golden Pass, you need to complete the initial Starter Circuit races in Chapter One: Meet Mickey Mouse.
click to enlargeOnce you complete the fifth race in Chapter One on the Bridgeway track, one of the rewards you’ll unlock is access to the Golden Pass. Every season has unique Golden Pass rewards. Season One, for example, has a Monsters Inc. theme, with Sully and Mike unlocked at level 10 and 15 respectively.
Disney Speedstorm is out now in early access on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Currently, the only way to play it is by purchasing one of the three Founders Packs. Eventually, however, Disney Speedstorm will be free-to-play on all platforms.
