F1 23 review
F1 23 is finally here. This year’s F1 game attempts to reinvigorate the annual franchise with improved handling, a new Ultimate Team-style F1 World mode replacing F1 Life and the return of the Braking Point story mode following the journeys of Konnersport Racings’ Aiden Jackson and Devon Butler.

Forza Motorsport career mode and release date revealed
There’s been a lot of mystery surrounding Forza Motorsport. Turn 10’s Forza reboot was announced three years ago, but we’re finally getting closer to the final release.
Soon after, June’s Forza Monthly stream offered a deep dive into Forza Motorsport’s career mode. With an emphasis on earning upgrades through progression and bonding with your car, Forza Motorsport’s new career mode could be groundbreaking.
It’s just a shame it requires an online connection…
The Crew Motorfest hands-on preview
When The Crew Motorfest was announced earlier this year, we were sceptical. Its Forza Horizon inspiration couldn't be more obvious – the announcement trailer looked like a Forza Horizon expansion.
But having now played The Crew Motorfest, we’re confident that Ubisoft’s open-world racer will be a formidable rival to Forza Horizon.
During the Ubisoft Forward conference, Ivory Tower revealed how the new Playlists will shake up the formula as well as the release date.
You can find out more in our The Crew Motorfest hands-on preview.
In other racing game news…
Just before the release, Codemasters revealed the F1 23 driver ratings. There are no prizes for guessing who comes out on top, but where do the other drivers rank this year?
Forza Motorsport stole the spotlight this week, but that doesn’t mean Forza Horizon 5 was neglected. Playground Games provided a preview of the new Upgrade Heroes series starting next week, featuring a new Donut Media Horizon Story campaign inspired by the popular HiLo car series.
If you were hoping to play Forza Motorsport at 120 fps on Xbox Series X, you're going to be disappointed. Turn 10 confirmed that Forza Motorsport won’t support the higher frame rate – but there’s a good reason why.
Three months after the last update, Need for Speed Unbound is getting a Vol.3 update, which adds new cars, a 16-player multiplayer game mode and more. If you’re looking for an excuse to return to Lakeshore City, NFS Unbound’s next update arrives later this month.
Ever wondered what you get when you cross Mario Kart with Fall Guys? The answer is Stampede: Racing Royale, a new 60-player battle royale kart racer in development by a new studio at Sumo Digital.
